Paint is very powerful. It can have a big impact to the interior/exterior of how your home looks and feels.  Choosing a paint color can feel overwhelming with thousands of swatches available. Undertones can change completely from recessed lights to evening lamp light, the sun shining brightly on one side of your home during the morning to shaded in the afternoon, and how natural light casts. Other elements surrounding your space can manipulate color as well such as flooring, cabinet colors, counters, or your exterior finishes depending what your paint project entails to consider.

Our color consulting service can provide comfort in helping you feel more confident about your color selection (s).  We look beyond the trends to analyze your home’s unique architectural features, existing finishes, furniture, and light sources to help you choose a palette that feels cohesive, intentional, and entirely yours.

What’s Included in Your Color Consultation:

• On site visit to your home.

• Color decks from popular brands (Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, Porter Paint, Behr) with larger sample options are reviewed at time of site visit. Sherwin Williams is our most popular kit of colors, but if you prefer to review another brand, let us know so we can ensure we have those colors at the time of your consultation.

• Suggestion for finish of paint to utilize (eggshell or satin, for example).

• We can review color selections you may have already considered. Some of our clients will have samples on site or colors written down they have seen in person or online.  

• Larger samples of the color selections we have made at the time of the consultation are shipped direct to your home. This may include 8x8 stick-ups from Sherwin Williams in their most popular color options or larger sheet samples. Size varies by paint  brand but are typically 8.5x11 in sheet size.

Not Included: 

• We do not provide 3D imaging of color selections applied to your home. Your screen (phone, laptop) is different from ours, and we do not take responsibility for the quality or accuracy of color examples using AI or other alternate visual inspiration. 

• Using paint brand apps: Paint brands do offer options that can be utilized to see the color applied to a photo, however we have found them to be lacking in depicting reliable accuracy in application.
